Strawberry Sauce

Yields: 3 cups
Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package frozen strawberries, thawed
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Directions
- Mash strawberries with a fork.
- In a medium saucepan, combine water and cornstarch and cook over medium heat until dissolved.
- Add mashed strawberries with juice,cook over, medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
- Cook 2 minutes longer and then cool.
