Strawberry Roll

Ingredients
- 5 egg whites
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 3⁄4 cup powdered sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pint fresh strawberries or 1 pint frozen strawberries
- 1⁄2 pint whipped cream
Directions
- Beat egg whites until frothy.
- add cream of tarter, beat until stiff.
- add powdered sugar, gradually.
- add beaten egg yolks, flour, and vanilla.
- pour into greased jelly roll pan.
- bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
- place on towel sprinkled with powdered sugar.
- roll in towel and let cool.
- unroll, sprinkle with sliced strawberries over cake.
- spread with whip topping.
