Strawberry Lemonade

Yields: 8 cups
Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 lemon, zest of, grated
- 4 cups strawberries
- 1 cup lemon juice
Directions
- In a saucepan, bring the water, sugar and lemon zest to a boil.
- Place the strawberries and lemon juice in a pitcher.
- Add the hot syrup.
- Refrigerate until completely chilled, about 4 hours.
- Strain if desired, but do not press.
- Serve well chilled.
