Strawberry Ice

Yields: 4 quarts
Ingredients
- 2 quarts fresh strawberries or 2 quarts frozen strawberries, thawed
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions
- Puree strawberries and combine with sugar. Let stand 2 hours.
- Add water and lemon juice. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Freeze as directed by the ice cream maker's manufacturer's instructions.
