Strawberry-Citrus Loaf

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup strawberry jelly (spread)
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon orange zest, finely grated
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease two loaf pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
- Mix in strawberry spread.
- Mix in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and baking powder.
- Mix in sour cream, vanilla, lemon juice and orange zest.
- Pour into greased loaf pans and bake about 50-60 minutes (or until inserted knife comes out clean).
