Stove-Top Scalloped Apples

Ingredients
- 6 granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄8 teaspoon clove
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Place apples in a nonstick saucepan with the butter. Cook for several minutes. Add sugars, spices and vanilla and continue cooking until apples are tender, about 20-25 minutes over low heat.
