Stew Leonards' Sangria

Yields: 4 1/2 cups
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 orange, juice of
- 1 (750 ml) bottle dry white wine or 1 (750 ml) bottle dry red wine
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 ounce brandy
- 1 ounce triple sec or 1 ounce Cointreau liqueur
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1 cup club soda
Directions
- Combine juice, wine, sugar, brandy, Cointreau, orange and lemon. Chill.
- Before serving, add ice and club soda. Serve in a festive pitcher.
