Steph's Hotdog Kabobs

Ingredients
- 8 all-beef hot dogs
- 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 3 zucchini, chopped
- 1 (12 ounce) package baby portabella mushrooms
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- skewer
- hot cooked rice
Directions
- Cut up hot dogs, zucchini and bell pepper into bite sized pieces. Skewer the hot dogs, zucchini, bell peppers and mushrooms onto wood skewers, leaving a little room between each.
- Mix applesauce and BBQ sauce together. Brush onto the kabobs and let sit for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
- Grill over medium heat or broil them in your oven for 20 minutes, basting once.
- Serve over rice.
