Steamed Snow Peas With Jalapeno-Cream Dipping Sauce

I found this recipe in a book called Menus and Music - Before Dinner. Sounds simple and good.

Ingredients

• Dipping Sauce

• 4  ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1  teaspoon garlic, minced
• 1  teaspoon fresh chives, minced
• 1  teaspoon fresh cilantro, minced
• 1⁄4 cup heavy cream
• 1⁄8 cup  jalapeno jelly
• 1⁄2 lime, juice of

• Peas

• 32  snow peas

Directions

1. Mix the cream cheese with the other sauce ingredients.
2. Steam the snow peas for about 1 minute, so they are still crispy.
3. Place the jalapeno cream in a bowl with the snow peas arranged around the bowl.
