Standby Frozen Margaritas

I like to keep Frozen Margaritas on "standby" in my deep freezer for when unexpected guests show up. When I hit them with, "How 'bout a frozen Margarita?", they ALWAYS resoundingly say "Yes!" So, you might also want to keep 3 or 4 nice crystal tumblers in your freezer for serving these babies. SO EASY TO DO THIS! Warning: This process tends to generate more and more drop-in company! Directions

  1. Pour the two ingredients into a glass gallon jug (I use an iced tea gallon jug) and stick it in the freezer. Once it gets slushy (about 6 hours) it can be served.
  2. I keep it in the freezer all the time and it never gets rock hard, due to the alcohol content. If it's fairly chunky, just scoop it into non-cooled crystal glasses and it will definitely frost the glass in just a few moments and become drinkable as it warms slightly.
