Stain Soak Recipe for Fabrics

I had received this recipe years ago from WestminsterLace as their "trusted recipe" for spotless linens, cottons and cotton blends. They proffered lace-touched clothing, lingerie, linens, beddings, antique lace and accessories.

• Yields: 1 gallon

Ingredients

• 1⁄4 cup  automatic  dish detergent (Cascade brand dishwasher only)
• 1⁄2 cup  clorox ii powdered  bleach
• 1  gallon  hot tap water

Directions

1. Dissolve Cascade and Clorox II in the one gallon of hot tap water.
2. Soak for two or more hours. Repeat if necessary.
3. Launder as usual.
