Squash Fritters

Ingredients
- 1 cup squash, cooked
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- pepper, to taste
- onion powder, to taste (or chopped onions)
Directions
- Cook squash first.
- Mix ingredients until just moistened.
- Drop by spoonfuls (try an ice cream dipper) into fry daddy, deep fryer, or deep pot with oil.
- Let cook until golden brown.
- Drain.
