Squash Casserole

Basic squash casserole recipe using cans of squash when you can't get fresh squash.

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 2 (1 lb) cans squash, drained
  • 1  medium onion, chopped
  • 2  tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 (10 3/4ounce) can  cream of chicken soup
  •  salt and pepper (to taste)
  •  breadcrumbs

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except for bread crumbs.
  2. Pour into medium-sized casserole dish and top with bread crumbs.
  3. Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes.
