Spinach With Wine and Sesame

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 2  tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 2  tablespoons  peanut oil
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1  lb fresh spinach, washed and trimmed
  • 2  tablespoons  chinese rice wine or 2  tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1  tablespoon  toasted sesame oil

Directions

  1. Heat a wok or large frying pan and add the oil and salt. Stir for a moment.
  2. Shake the excess water off the cleaned spinach and toss into the pan.
  3. Stir fry over high heat, very quickly, until the spinach wilts and is hot.
  4. Add the rice wine and sesame oil. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
