Spiked Baked Beans

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 (15 ounce) can vegetarian baked beans
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
- 1⁄2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
Directions
- Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat until shimmering. Saute onions in oil until soft and translucent, 3-5 minutes. Add beans, ketchup, mustard, worcestershire sauce, ground mustard and brown sugar, if using. Bring to a simmer and cook 10 minutes, stirring often.
