Spicy Three Pepper Hummus

It's not too often that you find spicy hummus and that's what I was in the mood for. I combined recipes from http://www.yummly.com/recipe/Spicy-Three-Pepper-Hummus-Allrecipes and http://vegetarian.about.com/od/saucesdipsspreads/r/jalapenohummus.htm.

• Yields: 1 cup

Ingredients

• 1  lb garbanzo beans
• 1⁄3 cup olive oil
• 5  fresh jalapenos, deseeded
• 8  garlic cloves, minced
• 1⁄8 cup lemon juice
• 2  tablespoons tahini
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
• 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in one bowl.
2. Mix until it's the correct consistency using hand or bowl mixer.
3. Add water one tablespoon at a time if the consistency is too dry.
4. Store in a sealed container in refrigerator for up to two days.
