Spicy Smoked Turkey Soup

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 -2 hot pepper
- 1 cup celery
- 1 cup carrot
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 2 1⁄2 cups smoked turkey
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 6 cups vegetable juice
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons morels, powder
- 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 -2 bay leaf
Directions
- Place a heavy pot over medium high heat. Add olive oil, onion, bell pepper, hot peppers, celery, carrots, and garlic; cook until onions are translucent.
- Pour in the chicken stock and reduce heat. Stir in the turkey, diced tomatoes, V-8, sugar, morel powder, hot sauce, lime juice, celery salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
- Simmer over medium heat for 45 to 60 minutes.
