Spicy Smoked Turkey Soup

The perfect way to use up some of that leftover turkey from Thanksgiving.

  1. Place a heavy pot over medium high heat. Add olive oil, onion, bell pepper, hot peppers, celery, carrots, and garlic; cook until onions are translucent.
  2. Pour in the chicken stock and reduce heat. Stir in the turkey, diced tomatoes, V-8, sugar, morel powder, hot sauce, lime juice, celery salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
  3. Simmer over medium heat for 45 to 60 minutes.
