Spicy Sausage Gravy & Biscuits

Serves: 4-6
Yields: 3 1/2 cups gravy
Ingredients
- 1 lb spicy pork sausage (buy in links from Pubilx and cut out of casing)
- 10 3⁄4 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom)
- 1 cup milk (use can from soup)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1⁄4 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (16 1/3ounce) package grand flaky layers biscuits
Directions
- In heavy skillet, brown and crumble sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain and set aside.
- In same skillet, combine soup and milk.
- Add mustard, seasoned salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
- Add sausage and sour cream.
- Simmer until heated through - do not boil.
- Serve over warm biscuits.
