Spicy New Orleans Grill Rub

This rub will jazz up anything that goes on the grill. It's great on pork, beef, fish and poultry.

• Yields: 1 cup

Ingredients

• 2  tablespoons ground oregano
• 1⁄3 cup salt, to taste
• 1⁄4 cup garlic granules
• 1⁄4 cup fresh ground black pepper
• 1⁄3 cup cayenne pepper
• 2  tablespoons  ground thyme
• 1⁄3 cup sweet paprika
• 3  tablespoons onion powder

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients well.
2. Store in air tight container until needed.
3. Sprinkle the spices generously on the item and throughly rub it in before grilling.
