Spicy Meatloaf

Hot tomato sauce located in the Mexican food aisle.

Ingredients

• 7 1⁄2 ounces  hot tomato sauce
• 4  ounces diced green chilies
• 1  egg, beaten
• 2  pieces  bread, toasted & crumbed
• 1⁄2  diced onion
•  onion powder
•  garlic powder
• 1  lb ground beef
•  salt
•  pepper

Directions

1. Preheat oven 375°F.
2. Heat hot tomato sauce in saucepan over medium heat until slightly thickened; let cool.
3. In a bowl, add 3/4 of the diced onion and 3/4 of the cooled tomato sauce.
4. Add remaining ingredients to the bowl; mix well.
5. Load meat into loaf pan.
6. Pepper the top of loaf, add remaining onion; pour remaining tomato sauce on top.
7. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour.
