Spicy Breakfast Sausage

This delicious sausage can be stuffed into casings or formed into patties. I use a wide-mouth canning jar ring and lid to make the patties. Place the ring, top down on the counter. Lay a piece of plastic rap on top of it. With an ice cream scoop, place the sausage into the ring. Lay another piece of plastic wrap on top and smash down with the lid. Perfect size for muffin, egg, cheese and sausage sandwich. Show more

  1. Pour water in bowl and add spices. Stir until well combined.
  2. Add pork and mix until well combined.
  3. Cover bowl and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Form patties or fill casings and fry over medium heat.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
