Spiced Prune Cookies With Orange Icing

No one can guess whats in these wonderful,moist,chewy cookies. So, flavorful.This recipe makes alot,but no fear,they wont be around for long.....

Ingredients

• 3 1⁄2 cups flour
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1  teaspoon cinnamon
• 1  teaspoon baking powder
• 1  teaspoon baking soda
• 2⁄3 cup butter
• 2  cups brown sugar
• 2  eggs
• 1⁄2 cup milk
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 1  cup  nuts, chopped
• 1 1⁄2 cups prunes, cooked, drained and chopped
• 8  ounces powdered sugar
• 1⁄4 teaspoon  orange extract
• 3  tablespoons  orange juice
• 1⁄8 cup butter, softened

Directions

1. In bowl.Cream 2/3 c butter,brown sugar,milk,vanilla.
2. Add flour,salt,cinnamon,baking powder and soda. Mix in chopped prunes and nuts.
3. preheated oven 350 degrees,bake 10-12 minutes,drop teaspoon full on greased cookie sheet.Cool and frost.
4. Mix and beat till smooth icing ingredients.When light and fluffy,ice cookies -- And watch them disappear -- .
