Spiced Pecans

Yields: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups pecan halves
Directions
- Heat first four ingredients in a heavy pan to 242 degrees on a candy thermometer.
- Place pecans in a large bowl and pour mixture over them; toss to coat.
- Spread out on a cookie sheet, cool and separate.
- If they are too sticky you can put them in a 150 degree oven for a few minutes to crisp them a little.
