Spiced Pecans

Wonderful sugared pecans - always a hit as a gift or just to enjoy at home.

Directions

  1. Heat first four ingredients in a heavy pan to 242 degrees on a candy thermometer.
  2. Place pecans in a large bowl and pour mixture over them; toss to coat.
  3. Spread out on a cookie sheet, cool and separate.
  4. If they are too sticky you can put them in a 150 degree oven for a few minutes to crisp them a little.
