Spiced Creamy Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Bring chicken stock and half and half to boil in heavy medium saucepan. Whisk in canned pumpkin, brown sugar ad spices. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until soup thickens slightly and flavors blend, about 20 minutes.
- Can prepare this soup 1 day ahead. Cool soup place in fridge and reheat wen ready to eat next day. Just give an occassional stir while reheating.
- Serves 4.
