Spiced Cider

Ingredients
- 1 quart cider
- crushed ice
- 12 whole cloves
- 8 whole allspice
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- salt
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in 2 quart saucepan. Bring it to boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cool: Refrigerate covered, several hours. Just before serving, reheat slowly. Strain to remove spices. Serve hot in mugs or punch cups.
