Spiced Cherry Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen pitted tart cherries, thawed
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1⁄3 cup water
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 dash salt
Directions
- Except for the cherries, combine all ingredients in a saucepan & bring to boil.
- Reduce heat & simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat & stir in cherries.
- Cool before serving.
