Spiced Cauliflower, Peas, and Potatoes

  1. Place potatoes in a steamer basket over boiling water.
  2. Cover pan and steam 10 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Remove potatoes and steam cauliflower 10 minutes, or until almost tender, drain.
  4. Heat oil in a heavy nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Add next 4 ingredients.
  6. Cook, stirring, until onion is soft.
  7. Add seeds and turmeric; cook, stirring, until fragrant.
  8. Stir in potatoes, cauliflower, peas and milk; cook, stirring, until thoroughly heated.
