Special Indoor Barbecued Spareribs With Sauce

This comes from the Recipe Book "Best Recipes from the backs of Boxes, Bottles, Cans and Jars" From the Tabasco Sauce people in Creole Louisana comes this classic red-hot bbq ribs recipe.   1. In small saucepan, saute onion in Wesson Oil until transparent. Add remaining ingredients except spare ribs. Mix well. Simmer 15 minutes. Pour over spare ribs in large glass baking dish; let stand 1 hour, turning occasionally. Arrange on shallow rack or broiler pan. Bake 350 2 hours. Turn ribs and baste with remaining barecue sauce two or three times during baking. Cut in portions and serve with extra sacue for dipping. Makes 4 servings.
