Spareribs in Black Bean Sauce

Ingredients
- 3 lbs spareribs (cut up)
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons oil
BLACK BEAN MIXTURE
- 2 tablespoons black beans (soaked in water 2 mins. Drain and mash lightly)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
SEASONING
- 2 tablespoons shoyu
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
BROTH
- 1 (14 1/2ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
CORNSTARCH MIXTURE
- 1⁄4 cup cornstarch
- 1⁄4 cup water
GARNISH
- green onion
- cilantro
Directions
- Parboil spareribs. Rinse and drain well.
- Dredge in flour lightly.
- Heat oil in heavy pan.
- Stir fry black bean mixture. Add spareribs and brown.
- Add seasoning while browning spareribs.
- Add broth. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Thicken with cornstarch mixture.
- Garnish.
