Directions

  1. Dice bacon and cook in large skillet until crisp.
  2. Add ground beef and brown well.
  3. Add remaining ingredients in layers, being sure that macaroni is well dampened.
  4. Cover with tight-fitting lid; cook over full flame until steam escapes.
  5. Turn flame to simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
