Spaghettini With Basil and Strands of Lemon Zest

Ingredients
- salt
- 1 lb spaghettini
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- fresh basil leaf (a large handful)
- 1⁄2 lemon, zested in long strands
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghettini until al dente.
- Meanwhile place the olive oil and garlic in a large sauté pan. Over low heat, warm the garlic for 3-4 minutes.
- Toss in the basil and stir gently to coat the leaves.
- Drain the spaghettini and toss gently with the basil and olive oil.
- Sprinkle with the lemon zest and stir once or twice before serving.
