Spaghetti With White Clam Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 (6 1/2ounce) cans drained minced clams
- 1⁄2 cup white wine
- salt
- pepper
- extra herbs
- 4 ounces dry pasta
Directions
- Start water for pasta and add pasta when ready. Meantime saute onion in olive oil until cooked, add basil, oregano, garlic and red pepper flakes and saute combined for several minutes. Then add drained clams and white wine, turn to low and add any additional spices to taste. Keep on low, stirring occasionally until pasta is done.
