Spaghetti Sauce With Ground Turkey

Yields: 6 cups
Ingredients
- 1 (1 1/4lb) package lean ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- dried basil
- dried oregano
- 39 ounces garlic and herb spaghetti sauce (Hunt's, ~1.5 cans)
Directions
- In large saucepan, cook minced garlic 2 mins until slightly softened.
- Add package of lean ground turkey and sprinkle basil and oregeno to taste (I find lots is better). Cook through, making sure to create finely cooked meat (also drain fat 1/2 way through cooking).
- Add canned spaghetti sauce and mix well; simmer for at least 20 minutes (longer is better).
- Serve over spaghetti or any kind of cooked pasta.
