Soy-Balsamic Vinaigrette II

From Bon Appetit. Try this on roasted vegetables! Mixed greens! Yes, and spicy!

Yields: 1/2 cup

Ingredients

  • 3  tablespoons  dark  balsamic vinegar
  • 1  tablespoon soy sauce
  • 12 teaspoon  red jalapeno chile, finely minced
  • 13 cup olive oil
  •  salt
  •  pepper

Directions

  1. Whisk the first 3 ingredients in a non-reactive bowl to blend. Gradually whisk in the olive oil.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cover and chill but bring to room temperature and whisk before using.
