Southwest Green Bean Casserole

Add a little zing to the old Green Bean Casserole recipe with a spicy version made for 21st Century taste buds. This is not your grandmas Green Bean Casserole. Show more

Ingredients

  • 16  ounces alfredo sauce, with roasted red pepper by classico
  • 14 12 ounces  diced tomatoes, fire roasted with garlic by hunts drained
  • 29  ounces  sliced green beans, kitchen style by green giant drained
  • 1 13 cups  French-fried onions, by french's
  • 12 teaspoon  seasoning, by tony chachere's original creole (use as desired)

Directions

  1. 1. MIX sauce, beans, tomatoes, seasoning, and 2/3 cup onions in a casserole dish.
  2. 2. BAKE at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until hot.
  3. 3. STIR and top with remaining 2/3 cup onions. Bake for 5 more minutes until onions are golden.
