Southern Green Bean Casserole

Green bean casserole is one of my favorite foods and something I always look forward to as the holidays approach. Recently, I've discovered that I can cook it more than twice a year- just because it goes nicely with dinner! This Southern-style recipe is not your typical green bean casserole, but I promise it won't disappoint- mainly because of a lot of wiggle room to account for individual taste. (Note: this recipe makes 12 servings, so it's great for gatherings, but you can easily half all of the ingredients for your typical family dinner) Show more
