Southern Fried Chicken

Yields: 6-8 pieces
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1⁄2 cup evaporated milk
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1⁄2 lbs broiler-fryer chickens, disjointed
Directions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Dip chicken pieces into milk.
- Dip into egg
- Coat again with flour.
- Fry chicken in 350* deep fat for 20-30 min or until browned and tender.
- Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve immediately.
