Sour Cream Spice Cookies

These are an easy-to-make brown sugar drop cookie. From an old New England Cookbook.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and mix well Stir in vanilla.
  4. Dissolve baking soda into sour cream.
  5. Mix dry ingredients into the butter and egg mixture alternately add sour cream and flour mixture; mix well.
  6. Drop by teaspoonsfuls unto a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake about 12 minutes.
