Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 6 eggs, separated
- 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups flour
- 1⁄2 pint sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well before adding the next.
- Mix baking soda and flour together, and alternate adding flour mixture and sour cream.
- Add vanilla.
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, and fold into batter.
- Bake at 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
