Sour Cream Dip / Dressing for Vegetables

Yields: 2 1/2 cups
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 1⁄3 cup butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups sour cream
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1⁄3 cup wine vinegar
- 1⁄3 teaspoon crumbled dried tarragon or 1 teaspoon snipped fresh tarragon
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
- Chill.
