Sour Cream Cabbage and Potato Casserole

A nice dish that is different but yummy!

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

  • 3  cups  sliced potatoes
  • 12 pint sour cream
  • 3  cups  cut up cabbage
  • 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine
  • 1 12 lbs ground beef
  • 1 (10 1/2ounce) can  cream of chicken soup or 1 (10 1/2ounce) can  cream of celery soup
  • 34 cup milk
  • 12 cup  chopped onion
  •  salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Boil potatoes until about done and then drain and place in the bottom of a casserole dish.
  2. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Mix in sour cream.
  4. Fry cabbage in butter or margarine until done. Put on top of potatoes.
  5. Brown meat with onion; put on top of cabbage.
  6. Mix soup and milk; heat and pour on top of meat.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or can be put in a crock pot on low for several hours.
