  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Cut butter into dry ingredients.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg and mix with sour cream.
  4. Add to dry ingredients and mix lightly with a fork just until incorporated
  5. into a ball.
  6. Roll out with a light touch on floured board to 3/4 inch thick.
  7. Cut with cutter.
  8. Glaze if desired by brushing with cream and sprinkling with sugar and maybe a little cinnamon if you like.
  9. Bake 15 minute or until done.
