Sour Cream Apple Pie

This delicious apple pie goes great with vanilla ice cream. The sour cream makes the filling rich and creamy!

• Yields: 1 pie

Ingredients

• 7  green apples, peeled & sliced
• 2  tablespoons lemon juice
• 1  cup sour cream
• 1  cup sugar
• 2  tablespoons flour
• 1  teaspoon cinnamon
• 1⁄2 teaspoon nutmeg

• Topping

• 3  tablespoons dark brown sugar
• 1  teaspoon granulated sugar
• 1  teaspoon cinnamon
• 1  cup  chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

1. Preheat oven at 400 degrees.
2. Combine apples, lemon juice and sour cream in a small bowl.
3. Mix all other ingredients and add to the apple mixture.
4. Put into a 9" pie tin with a premade crust.
5. Dot with butter and sprinkle with topping.
6. Bake for 50 minutes.
