Sonoran Flour Tortillas

This recipe was given to me by an old friend while stationed at Barksdale AFB. They are awesome tortillas.

• Serves: 4
• Yields: 12 Tortillas

Ingredients

• 2  cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1  teaspoon salt
• 3  tablespoons shortening
• 3⁄4 cup warm water

Directions

1. mix dry ingredients together.
2. add water.
3. roll out on lightly floured surface.
4. heat and flip when it begins to rise.
