Soft Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 1⁄4 cup molasses
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 ounces mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter and sugar together. Add molasses, eggs, and vanilla - beating well. Mix in flour, oats, baking powder, and baking soda - mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Drop by well-rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
