Snow Chili

Ingredients
- 1 lb dried navy beans
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon chicken base
- 1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash seasoning mix
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 cups onions, diced
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cups chicken breasts, diced
- 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies
- 4 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground oregano
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- 3 cups monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1 cup sour cream
Directions
- Cook beans in broth with base and seasoning for 2 hours or until beans are tender.
- Brown onion, garlic and chicken in oil. Add to bean mixture.
- Simmer for 30 minutes. Add chiles, remaining seasonings, cheese and sour cream.
