Snickerdoodles

This snicker doodle is soft, moist, and not too sweet. It is so good and easy to make. One batter can make about 30 cookies.

Ingredients

• 2  cups flour
• 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄4 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 1  egg
• 1  cup sugar
• 2  tablespoons milk
• 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons sugar
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. stir together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in small bowl.
2. In another bowl, beat butter and 1 cup of sugar until fluffy.
3. add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Beat well.
4. add dry ingredients to beaten mixture, mix until well combined.
5. preheat oven to 400 °F.
6. form dough into 1" balls.
7. Roll balls on a plate with mixture of 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
8. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a lightly floured drinking glass.
9. bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
