Yields: 36-42 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3⁄4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
cinnamon dip
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 -2 tablespoon cinnamon
Directions
- Cream first 3 ingredients together.
- Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
- Roll into balls and press into sugar.
- Place on lightly greased cookie pan sugar/cinnamon side up.
- Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
