Snickerdoodle Cookies

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup light butter
- 1⁄2 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 3⁄4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
- Cream butter, shortening, and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanila, beat well.
- Add sifted flour and dry ingredients.
- Blend thoroughly.
- Chill 1 hour.
- Roll into 1 to 2 inch balls, dip into Cinnamon and Sugar mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes.
