Slow Cooker Chicken and Rice Soup

Yields: 1 cup
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 lb boneless chicken breast
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup diced red onion
- 4 garlic cloves (diced, my family loves garlic, so I use a lot)
- 1 cup uncooked brown jasmine rice
- 2 cups of fresh Baby Spinach
- 1 teaspoon fresh sage
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon fresh chives
- 1 (12 ounce) can reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese
Directions
- Dump everything except for cream cheese into slow cooker and cook on low for eight hours.
- Put a dollop of cream cheese in the bottom of a bowl and spoon soup over it.
- Stir to get a creamier soup.
